Woolpack Inn
One of Cumbria’s most historic inns, we’re lovingly restoring and refurbishing the Woolpack to create a relaxed and welcoming pub, filled with great ales, hearty food, lots of laughter and a few surprises.
We look forward to welcoming you, your family, friends and dogs very soon.
The Woolpack Inn is in the heart of Eskdale in the Lake District National Park and our location is stunning – at the top of one of England’s most dramatic valleys, and the bottom of one of its most exciting roads – Hardknott Pass.
It is an area of beauty and boldness.
We have 7 rooms at the Woolpack, which are simple, cosy and comfortable.
The Hardknott Bar & Cafe menu focuses on posh coffees and gorgeous cakes, pastries and scones as well as light bites and nibbles throughout the day, followed by Pizzas made to order, from 4 pm to 10 pm, in our Italian wood fired oven. You can even collect a pizza to take away with you.
